Toboga Island

There are no roads leading to this location.  "Gee" It's an Island.  A boat ride from pier 18 in Balboa, old canal zone area just outside of Panama City, will have you promptly on your way to visit this island.  "Well" let's say, it will be about a 40 minute ride going and up to one hour coming back.  It all depends on the traffic heading towards the Canal as well as the tides.  If you enjoy the water, you will enjoy Toboga.  This island is small but was important in guarding the Port of Panama City in the 1600's and also guarded the entrance waters of the canal during WWI and WWII.
